The properties referred to in this section are all part of luxury residential-cum-leisure resorts crafted by us for the world market and officially approved under Mauritius’s Integrated Resort Scheme (IRS) of 2002/5.
The IRS provides for the development, in exceptional locations, of resorts combining full-service private homes built to the highest international standards, with world-class leisure facilities such as championship golf-courses, marinas, private swimming-pools, etc.
The properties offered in this section may legally be sold as freeholds to non-citizens. Purchase of such a property for residential purposes entitles the foreign purchaser and his or her dependant family to normal residence in Mauritius as long as he or she retains ownership of the property.
